THE WEEKLY BLOOM

“Blooming” is a term in coffee making that is the process of wetting your coffee grounds before brewing to allow for the essential oils and natural fats to be released in the brewing of the coffee, this creates a sweeter smell and taste to ones coffee.

Much like blooming ones coffee, if we allow, as Isaiah says in Is.44:3, the Spirit to be th]e living water poured over lives and wash over us we will begin to see immense spiritual growth in us, through us and around us. What begins to happen is, just like the smell of coffee when coffee beans are bloomed, we begin to create a spiritual sweet aroma that, as Paul says in Philippians 4:14-23, “becomes pleasing to the Lord”.
